Media Mogul and Life Her Podcast Host, Yvette Lloyd continues to be booked and busy. She’s been up to so much to a point she didn’t realize she was doing so much at once. Currently, she is in the process of opening a Studio “Life Her Studio” where everyone can create content, record a podcast, have meetings, edit videos & photos, and more. Yvette is also remodeling her daycare center and making changes to increase enrollment and offer a highly recommended service to prepare the children for kindergarten. Last but not least, Yvette has been a part of speaking engagements and taking vacations networking to enhance her Life Her Podcast Brand.
We got a chance to catch up with Yvette and obtain an exclusive interview.
Life Her Podcast is so in demand. Congrats on your success! We’re always hearing great things about it. What are some aspects of the podcast that gets guests excited to be on the show?
I make sure that all of my guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their interviews. I love giving everyone an opportunity to be themselves and make sure Life Her Podcast is that media platform that’ll give them that “yes.” I have been told no so many times during the 14 years of me being in business. I’ve been through alot and I see many of them in the beginning phase of their career stepping out on faith or still having faith. I don’t want to discourage anyone, I want to continue to encourage them on Life Her Podcast. How you treat people in life will develop so many blessings for anyone.
What else are you currently working on?
I am working on Life Her Blog at this very moment. I want some amazing writers to post some educational and amazing stories. I want the Black community to learn about Black History and read the information that they normally don’t read on a daily basis. We lost the concept of love and having a healthy relationship. I want people to feel connected again. So, starting in 2023 I am going to announce that I am seeking a Life Her Team that would like to join us. This will also give people the opportunity to have not only a live interview but an article as well. You will be able to watch all Life Her Podcast interviews on our website starting in 2023.
What are some of your 2023 goals and what are you looking forward to?
Life Her Podcast website is going to offer blogs, live interviews, a shop and most importantly I am starting a women’s group. I am going to educate women on Self, Wealth, & Health. It’s time for us to level up on ourselves. I will also be having some Life Her Events and Life Her & Friend where people will be able to hear and discuss conversations with me and my close friends and family.
What is a quote that you live by?
“Do you! And Stay in your lane”
My late mother use to always say this to me. One thing for certain, I always stay focused on myself and how I can make myself better.
What do you think is your purpose in life?
To make a difference, help people understand how important it is to heal and love themselves and others. We have let broken relationships and trauma take over our positive lives and it has created a negative environment and thought process.
What more would you like to see for women of color in the media industry?
I want women to get rid of that mean-girl attitude. Understand that no one can be you nor affect your purpose in life but you. Also, if you don’t know anyone, get to know them before you prejudge them. You never know what someone is going through in life. Be kind and learn how to communicate.
How can we keep up to date with all you have going on?
You can follow us on all major social media platforms Life Her Podcast follow, and subscribe. Our website is www.lifeherpodcast.com
