Today on August 25th 2021 is Sean Connery’s 91st birthday. You may be familiar with Mr. Connery’s exceptional performance and work as the very first and original James Bond.
The Scottish actor born on August 25, 1930 in Edinburgh, Scotland was known to play the legendary role of 007 as a British Secret Agent a total of seven times!
Mr. Connery is a well-known respected actor that’s appeared not only as the original James Bond but also, Marine (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1965), The Man Who Would Be King (1975) among many others.
In 1989 he was voted, “Sexiest Man Alive” by PEOPLE magazine and again voted, “The Sexiest Man in the Country” in 1999.
Mr. Connery has not only left his mark on the world’s entertainment industry but was notably recognized numerous times for his work and contributions including the BAFTA award for best actor in 1986 for his work in The Name of the Rose.
