We’re extremely excited to highlight Kelli Webb, owner of Komfort Kollection, a luxury comfort and candle boutique. As a form of relaxation and ministry, Kelli creates hand-poured scented 100% soy candles, and massage oil candles and looks forward to the release of additional products this year 2023.
The Chicago native has truly grown as a “Serial Entrepreneur” only by remaining faith-focused and humbled with every opportunity she is blessed to receive. When it comes to business, Kelli has no hesitation saying before accepting anything, she speaks with God first, and the mentors and advisers that HE leads her to. Kelli’s first and most important job is being a mother of two and striving to be that right example, leading them to always trust God first, the truth regarding the ups and downs, as well as having the determination to accept her purpose, as well as strive to make your dreams, and vision a reality.
In 2005, Kelli started her career working for a former Chicago-based record label, Legion Records, which allotted her to gain several skills and experiences in the industry that she has carried over into starting and operating her current businesses. In May 2014, Kelli started her career in the entertainment industry modeling and acting, which is where she fell back in love with being behind the scenes. In 2015, Kelli launched her Atlanta-based PR agency, which on January 1, 2023, underwent a major pivot and rebranding and became the first black-owned and black-women-owned wedding pr agency named NuLevel Group.
In March 2020 (pre-pandemic shutdown), she announced the official launch of Komfort Kollection a luxury comfort boutique that takes pride in every product created and strives to make your entire shopping experience as rewarding and memorable as possible.
The mission of Komfort Kollection is to provide and promote efficient comfort to every person no matter if you’re at home, and especially when you’re away. Please tell us about your company and the services you provide.
First, I’d like to thank you for this opportunity. I am the founder of NuLevel Group Wedding PR agency and noted to be the first Black Owned and Black Female Owned Wedding PR agency in the US and globally. We work with businesses in or provide services of many areas within the wedding industry, by helping to grow their visibility in the media through strategic campaigns.
I am also the founder and creator of the Komfort Kollection, which is a comfort boutique. We currently provide our scented soy candles with the luxury look that fits any, and all atmospheres and occasions. Also, after multi request, we have released our message oil candle that not only smells amazing when burned but truly feel amazing on your body and moisturizes your skin. Believe me when I say, a little goes a long way.
Happy Mother’s Day! Please tell us about your life as a mother.
I can so that God blessed me with to have been two intelligent and beautiful young ladies, that are the love of my life, after having a few unfortunate miscarriages. They are my miracle blessings! I can honestly say that my girls changed my life for the better and increased my motivation to be better than I thought I was before. I will never say it was easy, because I had server HG (Hyperemesis Gravidaru) with my oldest, which could have ended in losing my life, her life, or both, and with my youngest, I keep going into premature labor at around 6 months. However, I won’t have changed a thing.
How have you navigated being a parent while running a company?
I launched the PR agency when my girls were in 6th and 8th grade, which made it a bit easier to navigate and balance a work-life presence, and launched Komfort Kollection in 2020 at the peak of the pandemic shutdown. Now, both the girls play a role in some capacity with either one company or the other, which I absolutely love. I know I created the companies, but I truly desire to leave a legacy for my children and future grandchildren.
What lessons have you learned from being a mother that you’ve applied to your work as an entrepreneur?
Maintaining my faith through my fears and always trusting that God has me. Being a mom at 21, and even though I had my mom, I still had no idea what to expect. If I was doing things right or wrong, learning what patience really means, etc. Well, it was the same thing with being an entrepreneur, I must maintain my faith in God, myself, and my skills, and never give up.

What would you say is your ultimate goal as a mother?
My ultimate goal is to show my daughters that you can do anything that you desire to do and complete with God in the forefront, focus and putting in the work necessary. I don’t hide anything from them, including health issues (any longer), because I need them to see that I am still going to get things done. I want my girls to be proud to say I’m their mother and when I am no longer here, they have a great example of what a loving mother will forever do for them… no matter what.
What are some of your entrepreneurial aspirations?
My entrepreneurial aspiration is to continue providing the best quality of products and services to our clients and customers both nationally and internationally.

Tammy Reese began her career as a theater actress performing in 60 live stage shows a year with The Media Unit TV and Stage Production Company. She also directed the weekly live TV show Rough Times Live.
Eventually, she went to Empire State College to obtain her degree in media studies. After graduation, she did more theater and wrote and produced her own videos to spread awareness on social issues through the arts.
