Micaela L. Thomas Releases New Book, Sripped To My Truth: Unpacking The Emotional Baggage

Micaela L. Thomas is a wife, mother, first-time author, and powerful manifester! The author hopes to assist in advocating for the intentional healing of others through her own journey of self-awareness and manifestation. Affectionately known as “Cae”, Micaela was born to a single mother and loving family village. The Cleveland, Ohio native has always had a knack for writing. Whether it was poetry, plays, songs, books, or short stories, she could always utilize her imagination to keep her centered from the internal turmoil that brewed within. After eventually relocating to Columbus, Ohio, Micaela began discovering her various talents.

The story of Micaela’s life has been kept secret for the majority of her 33-years of existence. She has now decided to share her journey to encourage and betterment others who may be suffering in silence. Her first book, Stripped To My Truth: Unpacking Emotional Baggage, is both a tell-all and a guide through the eyes of another in getting out of your own way. It is a raw, unfiltered look into Micaela’s life from past to current in showing others that it won’t all be peaches and cream, but that there are ways to handle life’s traumas without losing yourself in the process.

Even if you lose yourself, Micaela shows you how to rediscover your true being and alter your thought process to manifest what you want in life. Micaela believes manifestation brings not only a willingness to help design your life to your specifications, but it also brings about peace and transformation. It’s important because it keeps one accountable and intentional about the goals and realities placed before them. It also teaches one to be grateful for current circumstances, no matter how bleak they may seem. Co-captain of a large, blended family, Micaela parents six biological children, four stepchildren, and one bonus child with her husband, Kendrick. Micaela is currently working on a documentary and her second book, which she is co-authoring with Kendrick.

How has your journey been as an author? My journey as an author has been amazing thus far! I can honestly say that it does have its obstacles and its perks. It has allowed me to tap into things, feelings, people, scenarios, and situations that have challenged me as an author and as a person. This journey of being an author, for me, is far from over. So, I am extremely excited to see what is next to come.

What can we expect from your first book ‘STRIPPED TO MY TRUTH: UNPACKING THE EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE?’ You can definitely expect some eye-opening revelations from STRIPPED TO MY TRUTH. There are things in there that will make people feel uncomfortable and things in there that people will very much relate to. Either way, it is a story worth sharing. It has a message. A message that tends to get lost amongst people who suffer in silence and those who are in search of some answers that they have had difficulty finding. We understand manifestation is very important to you. What can you share with us about your manifestation methods? Yes! Manifestation is a key factor in really grounding yourself and becoming aware of your own actions, desires, and behaviors. When it comes to manifestation, you have to really align yourself with the things that you want. It’s not just asking for it or praying for it, but it is also aligning your behavior, the way you think, it forces you to change your mindset and to get uncomfortable with the comfortability that has been potentially keeping you stagnant and complacent with your life, things you’re going through and/or your emotions.

My manifestation methods are surrounded by utilizing Vision Boards, being intentional in what I am asking for, and aligning my actions with it. Manifestation allows me to assess my beliefs and be grateful for where I currently am compared to where I am manifesting my journey to take me. In what ways do you make a difference in the world? I make a difference in the world, by looking at things from a view that isn’t just my own. I think about life in terms of “How would I feel if this happened to me?” or “How did I feel when this happened to me?” and “How can I help to change this problem?” When you are interacting with the world, you don’t have control over the people or the situations outside of our own bubble.

So, I choose to approach the world in a way that makes me think about different ways, I can help do my part so that I become and embody the reflection that I wish to see in the world and others. I make a difference by enacting my due diligence to treat others with positivity, light, kindness, understanding, and gratitude.
