Writer-producer Dalea Faulkner and her mother, producer Martina Webster, are set to attend the Cannes Film Festival this May, representing their hometown Show Low Film Festival and their upcoming fantasy feature, The Christmas Witch Movie. The film is currently in production and slated for release in 2026.
The trip marks the duo’s first time attending Cannes, but they are far from newcomers to storytelling. Faulkner is the author of the Amberlight Valley book series, which serves as the source material for The Christmas Witch and its interconnected cinematic universe.
The film is being adapted and produced by Faulkner and Webster through their independent banner, with a growing global audience already falling in love with the heartfelt magic of Amberlight Valley.
Shaked Berenson of Studio Dome, a veteran distributor, who has attended the festival for over 20 years, has already presented the team with a distribution contract, reinforcing strong industry momentum for the film’s release.
The family team is also no stranger to the screen. Faulkner previously wrote and produced Hashtag Blessed, now streaming on Tubi, Prime Video, and other platforms.
