Oscar Winner Sam Smith Seeks Out Styles Created by Designer Gilberto Brizuela
Gilberto Brizuela, a talented designer from León, Guanajuato in Mexico, is kicking off the year with an incredible project—creating a wardrobe for one of the world’s most renowned celebrities, English singer and songwriter Sam Smith.
After showcasing his brand Sereno del Sordo on the runways of Paris Fashion Week, Gilberto Brizuela is now in the international spotlight, and nothing can stop him.
Just a few weeks ago, during his time in Mexico, Sam Smith—an Oscar (2016), Grammy, and Golden Globe winner—paid a special visit to Brizuela’s fashion atelier, renowned for its high-end men's tailoring.
Brizuela’s designs, fabrics, and accessories, all coming together to create a stunning wardrobe, will soon be seen around the world thanks to Sam Smith. This collaboration cements the Mexican designer as one of the most sought-after talents among both national and international stars.
Very soon, as Sam Smith takes the stage, Brizuela’s artistry will be on full display.
The sketches are already complete, and Gilberto shares them with quiet excitement. “Designing for a celebrity like Sam Smith is a tremendous honor—it’s truly a dream come true. I feel incredibly lucky! Talking to him and getting to know him better has reaffirmed that I’m on the right path with Sereno del Sordo. Fashion is my passion, and above all, I’m grateful,” says the designer.
