Actor Joseph Perez Takes to the Runway for Indigenous New York Fashion Week 2026

This month marks the New York runway debut of actor Joseph Perez, who will be participating in Indigenous New York Fashion Week (INYFW) on Sunday, September 13. Perez, of Nooksack tribal heritage, is a passionate supporter of Indigenous voices in entertainment and will be showcasing contemporary fashions from Indigenous designers in order to champion underrepresented communities in storytelling and the arts.
Perez will be walking for clothing designers including Karlene Familo and Delvene Cockatoo-Collins during the Luxury and Couture shows, respectively. For tickets and more information, visit: https://www.indigenousnyfw.com/
INYFW takes place from September 10-15 and will feature 30 Indigenous designers and 120 Indigenous models, as well as Indigenous-led hair, makeup, styling, and production. Shows will take place at The American Indian Community House located at 234 West 39th Street in New York City’s Garment District. This is the second year of INYFW.
Perez has appeared in feature films including “The Keeper” and “Wardriver” as well as acted opposite Emma Stone in the Showtime TV series “The Curse.” Upcoming roles include the CBS TV series “Cupertino.” Beyond acting, Perez notably served as a U.S. Army officer and earned a prestigious Bronze Star from deployment in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom XIV.
