Legendary Drummer and Producer Robin DiMaggio Celebrates Community, Music, and New Beginnings at SATARA's Summer Solstice Celebration

When Heart of Hollywood caught up with acclaimed drummer, producer, and composer Robin DiMaggio at SATARA Mystical Wellness's Summer Solstice Celebration in Burbank, he was enjoying a relaxing evening surrounded by friends, music, and community.
During the celebration, DiMaggio enjoyed the event's popular community drum circle.
Although he remained seated with friends, he couldn't resist joining in, drumming on the table beside him for a few moments as others gathered around to watch. His impromptu performance drew applause and smiles from those nearby, reflecting his lifelong passion for music and his genuine enjoyment of sharing it with others.
He shared that he is currently writing his autobiography, The Truth Behind the Lights, which offers readers a behind-the-scenes look at his remarkable career in the entertainment industry.
The memoir will feature stories from his collaborations with legendary artists including David Bowie, Paul Simon, Carlos Santana, Diana Ross, and many others. It will also give readers an inside look at his years serving as Musical Director for The Arsenio Hall Show, along with memorable experiences working on Lopez Tonight and countless recording
sessions throughout his career.
According to DiMaggio, the book is filled with never-before-told stories about the people, performances, and moments that shaped his journey in the music business, offering readers a rare glimpse behind the curtain of Hollywood and the recording industry.
He also revealed that he is currently developing a major new project slated for next year.
While he wasn't ready to share details just yet, he described it as one of the most exciting endeavors of his career and said more information will be announced in the coming months.
For now, DiMaggio seemed perfectly content spending the evening supporting a local community event, enjoying the music, and sharing his passion with those around him proving that even after decades in the entertainment industry, his love for music remains as strong as ever.
