Interview With Cast of Comedy Series "Single Drunk Female"

The unfiltered and open-hearted comedy "Single Drunk Female" returns for a second season with back-to-back episodes premiering on Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 p.m. on Freeform with all episodes available to stream on Hulu on April 13.

In season two, with a year and a half of sobriety under her belt, Samantha Fink finally feels like she has a life worth celebrating. However, Sam quickly learns that sometimes life has other plans for her. Sam must figure out how to effect change where she can, sit in her discomfort when she can’t, and maybe even enjoy the ride.

"Single Drunk Female” stars Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ally Sheedy, Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, Garrick Bernard and Ian Gomez. The series comes from 20th Television and is executive produced by Jenni Konner, Daisy Gardner, Simone Finch, John Riggi, Phil Traill, Nora Silver and Leslye Headland. This season Molly Ringwald, Busy Philipps, Ricky Velez, and Charlie Hall guest star.


We obtained an exclusive interview with cast members Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, Garrick Bernard, and Ian Gomez.

Sasha Compère is Brit, Samantha’s smart, loyal and always well-put-together ex-BFF, in Freeform’s highly anticipated comedy “Single Drunk Female.”

Garrick Bernard is James, a fellow member of AA who Sam shares a surprising connection with, in Freeform’s highly anticipated comedy “Single Drunk Female.”

Lily Mae Harrington is Felicia, Samantha’s fun and fearless drinking companion who is always counting down the days until Samantha is out of rehab so they can meet up at their favorite local bar, in Freeform’s highly anticipated comedy “Single Drunk Female.”

The series comes from 20th Television and is written and created by Simone Finch (“The Connors”), who executive produces along with Jenni Konner (“Girls,” “Camping”), Daisy Gardner (“Silicon Valley,” “The Goldbergs”), Phil Traill (“Good Girls”), Nora Silver and Leslye Headland.

Episode descriptions:

201 — “Promotion”

For the first time in forever, with a new job and a new potential love interest, Sam thinks she has a life worth celebrating and throws herself a birthday party. Brit tries to convince everyone that she and Joel have the “perfect divorce.” Guest-starring Ricky Velez

202 — “Grant Me the Serenity...”

Sam’s newfound self-confidence is shaken when she learns her new boss is a blast from the past. Meanwhile, Felicia errs in how to congratulate her boyfriend on his promotion. And Olivia makes a life changing decision.

203 — “Normie”

Sam questions if she can move on at work from her old self, while also trying to navigate a relationship with a “normie.” Carol snoops around Sam’s room and makes a terrible discovery. Joel and James have a night out. Guest-starring Ricky Velez

Tammy Reese began her career as a theater actress performing in 60 live stage shows a year with The Media Unit TV and Stage Production Company. She also directed the weekly live TV show Rough Times Live.

Eventually, she went to Empire State College to obtain her degree in media studies. After graduation, she did more theater and wrote and produced her own videos to spread awareness on social issues through the arts.
