How to Stream the 78th Annual Tony Awards® Live with a Paramount+ With SHOWTIME Subscription

The 78th Annual Tony Awards® will be available to stream live on Paramount+ only for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service.
Paramount+ Essential subscribers will NOT have the option to stream the show live, but will have access to view the special on-demand the day after the special airs, in the U.S. only.
PRE-SHOW
First-time Tony Award® nominee Darren Criss and Tony® and Grammy Award® winner Renée Elise Goldsberry will host The Tony Awards: Act One, a live pre-show with exclusive content that is available to viewers for free on Pluto TV, the leading free streaming television service, beginning Sunday, June 8 at 6:40 p.m. ET/3:40 p.m. PT. Viewers can access the The Tony Awards: Act One by going to Pluto TV and clicking on the “Live Music” channel, found within the Entertainment category on the service.
AWARDS SHOW
Immediately following the pre-show on Pluto TV, the 78th Tony Awards will air from 8:00–11:00 PM live ET / 5:00–8:00 PM live PT on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live on Paramount+ in the U.S. (for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers). The awards show will not be available on Pluto TV.
BACKGROUND
Tony®, Emmy®, and GRAMMY® Award-winner and three-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo will be hosting this year’s awards ceremony from the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Members of the original cast of “Hamilton” will reunite for an anniversary performance at the awards, celebrating the extraordinary legacy of “Hamilton,” marking 10 years since it first took Broadway by storm and redefined the cultural landscape.
