CELEBRATING TALENT AND CREATIVITY: The 10th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards

The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild is the official labor union for makeup artists and hairstylists working in film, television, stage, and digital media.

Working in this field is not easy, partly because professionals need to be knowledgeable not only about what’s currently popular, but also about historical fashions, prosthetics, special effects, and more. Attaining membership in the Guild is a particularly difficult task, because the bar is set quite high. Members have created iconic looks for Hollywood’s most memorable characters and stars, and have influenced major trends in the consumer industry.

The organization recently held the 10th Annual MUAHS Guild Awards, one of the most exciting awards shows of the year.

Dancer, actor, singer, producer, and TV and YouTube personality Frankie Grande, Ariana Grande’s brother, hosted the red carpet pre-show, as he had done previously to great acclaim.
