The Babes in Toyland Annual Toy Drive is one of the most generous events in Los Angeles. The event, which took place on November 30th at Academy LA, brought together people from all walks of life to give hope to children in need during the festive season.
For the past 16 years, the Christmas toy drive has been a favorite among hundreds of models and influencers who come together for a night of fun, photos, and gifts. In addition to the entry fee, attendees are encouraged to bring a toy that will be given to a needy child shortly after the event. As its website proclaims, “It’s not just a party, it’s a celebration of community spirit.”
The theme "Babes in Toyland" itself is nostalgic and brings back memories of childhood wonder and the magic of the holiday season. This sentiment is at the core of the charity fundraiser, which aims to make Christmas special for everyone, particularly those facing challenges.
Although the goal is to bring joy to children, "Babes in Toyland" also focuses on other members of the community. Throughout the year, it promotes campaigns for different causes, such as breast cancer awareness, military support, pet shelters, and unhoused populations.
