Last night (June 16), The Paley Museum hosted its latest PaleyLive program: 30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond: An Evening with the Legends of the Classic Sitcom in New York City. The exclusive event celebrated thirty years of Everybody Loves Raymond and was a once-in-a-lifetime special night of laughs and nostalgia.
The evening featured a conversation of never-before-heard-stories, fan-favorite moments, and a few surprise revelations with the following: Ray Romano, “Ray Barone” & Executive Producer; Phil Rosenthal, Show Creator & Executive Producer; Patricia Heaton, “Debra;” Tom Caltabiano, Coexecutive Producer & Writer; Cindy Chupack, Coexecutive Producer & Writer; Lew Schneider, Executive Producer & Writer; and Aaron Shure, Executive Producer & Writer; and Maggie Wheeler, “Linda.” The discussion was moderated by Alan Sepinwall, Chief TV Critic, Rolling Stone.
Coinciding with the event was last Friday’s opening of 30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond: A Behind-the-Scenes Tribute, a new Paley exhibit featuring rare photos, video, costumes, and the chance to snap a photo on the famous Barone family couch and at their kitchen table.
