Our Favourite Looks From the 93rd Academy Awards

Updated: May 4, 2021

The Oscars are the moment where designers and movie stars make the best to look their best. The red carpet of this prestigious award is one of the most anticipated moments of the whole year by those who love fashion, as we can see iconic gowns worn by the best stars of Hollywood. This year’s ceremony was quite different; even though it was an in-person event, the location took place at another venue, and we saw fewer people than usual. However, this wasn't an impediment for the stars to deliver iconic looks, so today, we are bringing you our favorite looks of the most prestigious red carpet in Hollywood.

10. Reese Witherspoon

With a red gown made by Dior Haute Couture, Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon looked gorgeous; combined with Bulgary jewelry, she made a grand appearance at the Academy Awards red carpet.

7. Daniel Kaluuya

The winner for best-supporting actor for his role on Judas and the Black Messiah made an appearance on a double-breasted black tux made by Bottega Veneta, paired with a black sweater underneath it. Matching the suit with some Cartier shoes, he looked incredible, and we liked the combination of the different elements that completed the outfit.

5. Margot Robbie

We got to the top 5 of our favorite looks from the red carpet. Starting at number 5, we put Miss Robbie, one of our favorite looks of the night, thanks to this metal Chanel gown. Dressed from head to toe in Chanel, the renowned actress stunned the red carpet with this look, which, in our opinion, is one of the best she's ever worn.

3. Regina King

Looking like an absolute dream, Regina King wore this dress made by Louis Vuitton, the curve-hugging gown and over the top shoulders made her one of the best dressed of the night. The dress also featured crystals all over the neckline, making it even more impressive. Not only did she delivered one of the best speeches of the night (we all agree that she should have been the host of the awards, right?), but she also had one of the best gowns of the night.

2. H.E.R

Making a tribute to Prince when he received the Academy Award for best original song, H.E.R decided to wear a gown that reminds us of the legend that was Prince. She chose a Dundas purple jumpsuit matched with some round glasses, making H.E.R look like a total rockstar, while she won the category of Best Original Song for her song Fight For you from the movie Judas and the Black Messiah. We love a good fashion tribute.

  1. Zendaya

When it comes to Zendaya, you know she never disappoints. Looking stunning in this sunny yellow Valentino gown, the Malcolm & Marie star stunned the red carpet and shook us all with this gorgeous look with a 183.3 carats Bulgary necklace worth a total of six million dollars. Completing the look with her long wavy hair and neutral makeup, Zendaya knew what she was doing, and this is why she became our favorite dressed of the night.
