Heart Of Hollywood Magazine was honored to attend an unforgettable Masterclass with screenwriter and film dirrector Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise at the Cannes Film Festival.
McQuarrie, the scheduled speaker, opened up about the evolution of today’s competitive film industry and his dynamic collaboration with Tom Cruise. The duo is truly redefining what it takes to tear audiences away from their homes and bring them back into theaters.
Cruise's previously unannounced appearance at the event was a surprise that delighted those in attendance.
“The theatrical experience is under siege,” he told French journalist Didier Allouch, as they discussed the meteoric rise of streaming.
But with Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, the powerhouse team, made up of the director and the actor, is proving that bold, creative storytelling still belongs on the big screen.
