Staying home is the new going out. Despite the gradual reopening of establishments in Los Angeles and other parts of the country and the world, many people still feel safer and more comfortable at home. Yet we are all eager to reconnect, network, and enjoy ourselves.
Wise entrepreneurs have found a way to bring the excitement of a night out on the town directly to us through our computers.
Ever since the beginning of the lockdown, I’ve enjoyed a number of very interesting virtual events. Author Haneef Jordan hosted a virtual book launch. The Beverly Hills Wine Club held a virtual tasting; participants received bottles in advance, then sipped along with an expert on Zoom. Since I’m an amateur winemaker, I also did another wine-centric activity—I ordered a wine blending kit from a company called The Blending Lab, which includes three types of wines, measuring tools, a bottle with a blank label for the personal blend you create, and access to online tutorials.
As an entertainment expert, I am particularly thrilled because Heart of Hollywood is going to host a one-of-a-kind virtual event later this year, a Virtual Red Carpet. Get ready to put on your gown or tuxedo.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST, and is already attracting professionals in the industry from different parts of the world. Companies from the Netherlands, France, the U.K., Indonesia, Mexico, and the U.S. will be present, and international fashion designers will be featured. It’s a wonderful opportunity for brand exposure, since geographical limitations are removed, and people around the globe become potential clients.
This is an eco-friendly event, and a very cost-effective way to build international business relationships, since you save on travel expenses, vehicle rentals, gas, meals and lodging.
If are passionate about entertainment or fashion, or related fields, you are sure to benefit from this event, and have a wonderful time. I will have the opportunity to briefly discuss my soon-to-be-released book, Choose to Prevail: Unexpected Insights to help You Overcome Challenges, and am really looking forward to that.
By participating in the Heart of Hollywood Virtual Red Carpet, you will bring awareness to VO Neighborhood Medical Clinic, a non-profit organization working towards stopping the spread of COVID-19 in Imperial County, one of the hardest-hit areas in California. They deliver meals to vetted patients quarantined at home so that they don't go out and possibly infect others through interactions.
Part of your contribution will be donated to VO Neighborhood Medical Clinic. If you wish to additionally donate canned goods or other food products, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Tickets to the event have a low Early Bird price of 10 dollars, which will go up to 50 dollars after August 15, 2020. Visit https://www.heartofhollywoodmagazine.com/product-page/virtual-red-carpet-ticket?fbclid=IwAR133SRVNYOhO50WP5WDHslqA2KekZqP8hAQp2L9fTYpNu4jjSTDfo7_FVQ for your passes.
See you there!
