VisualCreatures has appointed Andy Williams as Senior Executive Producer for their virtual production studio. Williams, a former Executive of DNEG & Outpost VFX, will helm business development and client strategy for the company who just completed VFX work on Russo’s Citadel and virtual production services on upcoming feature The Electric State. Andy Williams joins VisualCreatures as the Russo Brothers’ AGBO owned entity expands its virtual production and visualization offering to the filmmaking industry. Andy will be acting as Senior Executive Producer, Virtual Production, VFX & Cinematics joining founders Ryan McNeely and John Cranston, VFX Executive Ian Unterreiner and industry visualization veteran Scott Meadows. With a focus on deploying realtime tools in service of narrative filmmaking and game cinematics, Andy will be fostering this mission by leveraging 15+ years in the VFX and virtual production space. His joining coincides with the recent investment in VC's VizLab, a motion capture stage fully integrated with their realtime pipeline and LED volume.

“The opportunity that VisualCreatures offers its clients through its association with AGBO is entirely unique. No other provider of services within the space couples technical innovation with such a strong connection to creative storytellers who are constantly pushing the envelope.” says Andy Williams.
Ian Unterreiner, President of Visual Creatures, says, “Both respected by the teams he leads and trusted by the clients he has long standing relationships with, Andy is the perfect fit to share with the world all the exciting things we are developing at VisualCreatures. We are very lucky to have him as part of our leadership team during a time of rapid growth in Virtual Production at VC”.
