In recent years, Ricky specifically reinvented himself to use the the name “Rebel” - aka Ricky Rebel - as to continue to make waves in the music industry and promote LGBTQ rights.  In 2018, he performed at the New York Pride parade, representing Univision TV Network, and released a music video for his song "Life is a Runway." Follow him onTwitter and Instagram to stay updated on his latest projects and performances.

I had the pleasure of seeing Ricky perform spectacularly live at the famous 50 year old - The Globos Club in Silverlake Los Angeles - and asked, “Who and what inspires you to continue to work in the music industry - which you are singularly so uniquely talented in?”

Ricky Rebel relies “First of all, thank you, I appreciate that. The people that have inspired me the most in the music industry are the artists who take chances, push boundaries, and reinvent themselves and their music. Artists like Madonna, David Bowie, Prince, and Michael Jackson. What inspired me to continue to work in this industry is the feeling I get when I’m on stage, sharing my music, and making people happy. It’s an indescribable feeling that I’m addicted to. There’s no better high in the world.”
