Modeling Agent Shubhra Goyal Bridges the Gap between Bollywood and Hollywood
Shubhra Goyal is an actress and producer from Mumbai, India. After completing an MBA from the Narsee Monjee Institute in Mumbai, Shubhra moved to the U.S. and began dipping her feet in the entertainment business. From working with talent agencies such as MTM and gaining priceless experience, she started her own agency, I Catch Management. Her agency represents models nationally and internationally, with the chief aim of bridging the gap between Bollywood and Hollywood.
It is a mother agency, in other words, it is the type of agency that typically discovers models and the first one they work with once they begin their career.
The I Catch team also goes to IMTA every year. This is the largest international convention for models, actors, dancers, singers, and songwriters from around the world.
Shubhra is truly devoted to helping models and other talent succeed. In addition to running her mother agency, she has also started a production company: I Catch Productions. She has already produced multiple music videos shot in the U.S. and Dubai, as well as an upcoming Hollywood and Bollywood web feature film.
What is your company mission?
To find work for, and place, our diverse models and talents globally.
How did you decide to become a business owner?
I have been in front of the camera and am passionate about acting and production. I have seen how new faces have to struggle to get placed or even to enter the industry. I want to bridge the gap and offer a platform to help them book jobs directly.
How do you see your company progressing in future years?
Expanding nationally and internationally, placing models and actors, and creating a pool of talent. Also, producing reality shows, movies, and music videos.
What are you currently working on and why?
We are working on Hollywood and Bollywood movies, and also on a model showcase/fashion show in Dubai.
