Ellie Pierce Truly Comes Alive in Front of the Camera
Model Ellie Pierce is still quite young, yet her work ethic is extraordinary. She strives to be well-prepared for any shoot or other modeling assignment. Additionally, she strongly believes in kindness and empathy, and recommends using hashtags such as #bullyfreezone or #bekind.
What made you decide to be a model?
I've always come alive in front of a camera or on stage. Modeling gives me a platform to spread a message I'm very passionate about, which is anti-bullying! Once I started modeling, I realized how hard everyone works in the industry. I gained a lot of respect and love for the whole process!
Who is your inspiration or role model?
So many inspire me! I know that sounds like a cop-out, but I'm a person who tries to learn from everyone and everything I do. I couldn't pick just one person, for that reason.
What modeling experience do you have?
I have been modeling for and working with various people, magazines, and brands, such as Wild Child Magazine ( @wildchildmagazine ), Tyler Lyons Photography ( @tyler_lyonsphotography ), Rock Your Hair ( @rockyourhair ), Olivia Rose Dancewear ( @oliviarosedancewear ), and Dent Model Magazine ( @dent.model.mag ) for a year now. Funny story, though-- my first runway was when I was four and I got to walk for Chick ( @chick.nyc ) at New York Fashion Week in September! So fun!
What do you enjoy most about modeling?
I love on-site shoots especially when travel is involved. The people you meet along the way add to the experience!

What has your biggest modeling accomplishment been?
Oh. I'm blessed to say that’s another hard question. When Rock Your Hair announced I was a new model for them, I felt so honored to be a part of something so amazing! Then there's Wild Child Magazine, which I love working with. It is about to start a podcast and I'll be one of the hosts! How awesome is that? Lastly, Heart Of Hollywood had a contest and I was up against amazing talent! I'm a huge (actress and model) Brianni Walker fan! During the last hour countdown for the contest, my whole family was watching. When it closed and I won, I started screaming and jumped into my daddy's arms! It was an unbelievable feeling and I thank everyone that voted or helped in any way!
Who is your favorite designer and why?
Joyfolie if I’m dressing up. I’m a boho girl.
Why should an agency hire you?
I'm the whole package! I'm always told I have a natural passion. You can't teach someone to have an artist's heart. I'm ambitious and intelligent, an old soul, which means I know if anything is worth having, I have to work hard for it or I won't keep it.
How do you prepare for a new photo shoot?
First, I never take whatever's going on in my own life to work with me. I leave it all at home. That's important! I come prepared to get started. I think about expressions, turns, and poses ahead of time. I want to be the solution, not the problem.
What is your message for Heart Of Hollywood Magazine readers?
There's a quote my family says all the time. I would love to share this with all of you because it keeps me grounded. "Every man is my superior in that I may learn from him," from Thomas Carlyle.
