Actress and model Tempast Wulf believes having won the Heart Of Hollywood Mag-azine Spring Cover Model 2021 contest was a dream come true.
Is there something you would like to say to the readers that voted for you?
Their overwhelming support that allowed me to win this contest left me humbled and in awe. The year 2020 was one of the worst ones of my life, losing so many amazing people, being stuck inside with the fear and unknowingness, pray-ing that no one you know and love, or even those you don't know, will get sick, and that if they do, they will overcome it.
My saving grace was reconnecting with the family I grew up with and with all my friends on social media. That was what got me through. I cannot say thank you enough. Thank you for being in my life, supporting me on my journey, and most of all, believing in me. I love you all.

Where did you grow up, and what was your childhood like?
I was born in California, but my family moved to Nevada when I was young. I spent my childhood riding horses and dirt bikes, kayaking, swimming, and just having the best friends and cousins in the world. I learned to keep the good people close and let the negative people be negative somewhere else.
What led you to pursue a modeling and acting career?
I am an artist, 100%. I love everything about art and the fellow artists around the world. In modeling, you work with wonderful artists who always design something interesting, such as clothing, makeup, jewelry, magazines, books, or photographs. As an actor, I also get to work with these people, plus thousands more in different fields such as theater, writing, prop making, character creation, special effects, CGI, martial arts… the list just keeps going. How could an artist not want to work with so many amazing people? I know I am swimming in a sea of artists, all working together to tell a story. This is why I became an actor.
How long have you been working in the entertainment field, and what have you learned?
I have been in the entertainment industry since 1994, modeling on runways and being involved in theater, honor choir, art, music. Being an artist is what makes me the happiest, being able to express myself freely.
I learned that every profession has a good side and a bad side. Successful people work hard, are patient, and learn from their mistakes.
What are some of the challenges that you have encountered in the field of acting?
Overcoming my fear of what people think of me and just being in the moment, playing the character, and learning from it. You never know what you will learn from experiences until you have them. There is fear in not knowing. Be organic and have fun.

Who is your role model, and why?
Growing up, my role model was Angelina Jolie. She is strong, fearless, not afraid of what people think, and not afraid to follow her heart and help people who need it. She doesn't see race; she sees people and helps them. She is also an amazing actor who can play any role given to her. To me, it's like she loves to overcome challenges and actually finds new challenges to overcome, just to push herself that much further. My favorite thing about her is she never tries to be perfect. She just enjoys life and overcomes whatever obstacle comes her way.
What is what you would like to accomplish in your career?
I would love to be in a long-running TV show and make my own films. I would love to give back to the artists’ community and support my fellow artists live their dream.
What is your dream?
My dream is to be a superhero! Also, to see my grandchildren grow up in a world of tolerance, understanding, and art, without hate, violence, and human trafficking. To buy my plane and live on lots of acres where I can garden, have my animals, and love life. If I could do anything in the world, it would be to have lunch with Sarah Finn.
What are your talents?
As a dedicated method actor, I train my mind and body for the unknown. I mean that I stay strong, fit, and active, so no matter what a role calls for, I am ready. I study martial arts, and before COVID, I had just started Krav Maga. My greatest talent is that I am not afraid to try anything. I am a fast learner and love challenges. I keep negativity off my plate. I don't worry about negative people who are not going anywhere with their life.
What advice would you give aspiring actors or models?
Being an artist in any field is hard. The first lesson you need to learn is that art is a business, and you are a businessperson. If you want to be successful, you must be a good business person even when you are between jobs. Learn your worth, learn how to market yourself. Find a job you can do a little that pays a lot and allow you to act and model full-time. Do not settle for a 9 to 5 job in hopes that you will still be able to become an artist. Learn about the Draesis program, which artists design for artists.
What would you like people to know about you?
I’m a simple artist that loves to create stories, become new and exciting characters, and live in different worlds. It's an artist thing.
